Interoperability Product Manager

Salary: £46,000 - 86,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced Product Manager or Product Owner.
• We are looking for someone with a background in Defence, Government or National Security.
• Experience in interoperability, systems integration or secure information exchange would be highly beneficial.
• We are looking for someone who has worked with complex technical products and can navigate sophisticated technology environments.
• We need strong technical understanding, commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
• We are looking for someone who can discuss requirements with Technical Architects, challenge priorities with engineering teams, present product propositions to customers and provide updates to senior leadership.
• We are looking for someone who is confident, credible and collaborative, with the ability to build strong relationships across technical, commercial and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you shape the strategy, development and delivery of an interoperability portfolio.
• We will have you work directly with customers, technical specialists and senior stakeholders.
• We will have you bring together customer needs, commercial priorities, technical considerations and strategic objectives.
• We will have you translate high-level requirements into clear product goals, detailed requirements and prioritised backlogs.
• We will have you work closely with Technical Architects and Delivery Managers across multiple programmes.
• We will have you help teams understand priorities, keep progress visible and ensure development aligns with customer expectations, delivery plans and wider portfolio objectives.
• We will have you take ownership of product releases from planning through to completion.
• We will have you define release requirements, coordinate documentation and implementation, support deployment and formally accept completed releases.
• We will have you help refine the wider interoperability strategy.
• We will have you manage product and service lifecycles.
• We will have you develop value propositions and ensure the portfolio evolves in response to customer needs and market changes.
• We will have you present products and services to customers, explain benefits and use cases, gather feedback and use that insight to influence the product roadmap and backlog.
• We will have you work closely with Marketing to bring products and capabilities to market.
• We will have you contribute to product collateral, campaigns, use cases and communications.
• We will have you monitor competitors, technologies, partners and suppliers to identify market developments and opportunities.
• We will have you influence commercial and delivery decisions by facilitating estimates with engineering and ensuring technical effort, budgets and timescales are understood when prioritising the backlog.

We are offering the role of Interoperability Product Manager in Nottingham with a remote working arrangement and client travel. This is an opportunity to shape the strategy, development and delivery of an interoperability portfolio spanning software, products, services and managed services. You will work closely with customers, engineering teams, Technical Architects, Delivery Managers, Marketing and senior stakeholders, with genuine ownership and influence across the product lifecycle.
