Salary: £42,000 - 82,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require 5+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or a related area of study; without a degree, we require three additional years of relevant professional experience (8+ years in total).
  • We require sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the design and scope of deliverables within a field of expertise.
  • We require experience leading a small team in delivery of a specific deliverable.
  • We require mastery of at least one technical discipline with strong knowledge in at least three major technology areas.
  • Knowledge of container platforms is preferable.
  • We require advanced level business, technical, or functional knowledge.
  • We require the ability to perform and drive resolution of problems involving combinations and interactions of products.
  • We require the ability to apply technology and consulting to solve a client business problem.
  • We require the ability to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence.
  • We require consulting skills including questioning, listening, idea development, permission and rapport, and influencing.
  • We require the ability to conduct and lead oral status and technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements.
  • We require the ability to own and produce customer documentation and translate technical details into concise, easy-to-understand written form.
  • We require the ability to write relevant components of proposal documents, including responses to specific RFP questions.
  • We require the ability to translate verbal requirements from client meetings into requirements documents, statements of work, and proposals.
  • We require the ability to discuss requirements with customers, challenge and clarify where appropriate, develop a high-level design or plan, estimate delivery effort, and advise the engagement owner on associated risks.
  • We require the ability to work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and/or reports and documentation for delivery.
Responsibilities:
  • We implement part or all of the technical solution for the client in accordance with an agreed technical design.
  • We occasionally provide detailed technical designs for enterprise solutions.
  • We understand a broad spectrum of company technology to produce technical designs that meet customer requirements.
  • We often lead small to medium technical projects.
  • We work under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and with customer-nominated representatives.
  • We liaise with Solutions Architects as appropriate.
  • We provide technical support and input on the application of technology to a defined business segment.
  • We provide advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments.
  • We provide technical leadership on specific integration activities within an engagement.
  • We provide planning and design support for developing solution architectures in multiple-system environments.
  • We communicate across the client community and add value.
  • We demonstrate execution of the company strategy.
  • We contribute to knowledge tools and communities and ensure project learnings are documented and shared.
  • We role model knowledge sharing and re-use within the practice or profession.
  • We proactively encourage others to join and contribute to the professional community.
  • We use professional standards and relevant certifications.
  • We produce internally published material such as knowledge briefs and service delivery kit components or modules.
  • We participate in the selling process in C&I and support pre-sales activities with sales and principals.
