Operational Technology Consultant
Job Description
Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year
Requirements:- We need experience in security management of industrial control and operational technology systems and applications such as process control, SCADA, distributed control, PLCs and RTUs, industrial cyber security, data communications, and electricity transmission and distribution network control.
- We need experience with IoT and Industrial IoT, industrial cyber security risk management, architecture, and security monitoring.
- We need knowledge of key industries such as electricity generation, transmission, distribution and distributed energy, smart energy and metering, oil and gas, water, civil nuclear, transport, and wider critical infrastructure.
- We need familiarity with security standards relating to the sector, including NCSC NIS Guidance and CAF, ISO 27001 and ISO 27005, NERC CIP, ISA-99/IEC 62443, and NIST CSF.
- Some of our UK roles require a UK security clearance.
- All of our people are required to undergo background checks and achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
- Some UK roles require higher levels of National Security Vetting, and applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.
- We ask that applicants meet the residency requirements, meaning British citizenship or UK residency for the past 5 years, where required for security clearance.
- We work to agile best practices and cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- We use our technical skills to problem solve with our clients.
- We work on internal projects.
- We take part in live in-person whiteboarding sessions to solve problems as a team.
- We communicate asynchronously on Teams.
- We work on client site or in our office a minimum of two days per week, with the time and location varying by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site.
