Sr. Software Engineer, Cloud Detection
Job Description
Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated backend engineer.
- We require a degree in Computer Science, or professional experience in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- We need a strong understanding of scalability and distributed systems, including sharding, partitioning, and concurrency.
- We value being a team player.
- We expect a thorough understanding of engineering best practices, from testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architecture.
- We need the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment.
- We expect the ability to meet commitments on time and produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
- We require proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
- Lead backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications across our products.
- Leverage and build cloud-based systems to detect targeted attacks and automate cyber threat intelligence production at a global scale.
- Brainstorm, define, and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams.
- Learn continuously and champion the newest technologies and techniques with others, raising the technical IQ of the team.
- Mentor and be mentored by other developers on web, backend, and data storage technologies and our system.
- Constantly re-evaluate our product to improve architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance, and stability.
