Requirements:- Expert experience working with AWS cloud and core AWS services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3
- Expert experience of setting up and maintaining continuous delivery and deployment pipelines
- Expert experience upgrading and migrating PL/SQL based applications
- Experience with Oracle database versions 10g, 11g, and 12c on Unix/Linux
- Expert experience of Oracle SQL tuning, including execution plans, indexes, hints, and legacy optimiser quirks
- Expert experience of schema design and data modelling in a legacy ERP context
- Experience with installation, patching, and upgrades
- Practitioner experience working on RMAN/OEM
- Expert experience working on Oracle E-Business Suite R12
- Expert experience working with SOA, Weblogic, Portal, and IAM
- Expert experience of EBS concurrent managers
- Experience with Weblogic clustering and JVM tuning
- Experience automating administrative tasks via scripting
- Practitioner knowledge of Git
- Ability to create and use AWS CloudFormation templates to automate creation of AWS images
- Practitioner experience working in Agile product delivery teams
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and skills transfer capabilities
- Adaptable team player with a passion for learning and problem-solving
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Version control experience for databases, such as Flyway or similar

We are seeking Senior Oracle Database Administrators to join our DBA team in the Legal Aid Agency. Our mission is to modernise, maintain, and improve digital services. This role is remote, with occasional travel for workshops or meetings, and is offered on a rate of up to £598 per day on an umbrella basis for a duration of 1 year and 5 months. Our Oracle databases are hosted in AWS and support applications built with Oracle products including Oracle E-Business Suite, SOA, Portal, IAM, Weblogic, OHS, and APEX. We are looking for someone with an interest in driving modernisation, automation, better monitoring, and continuous improvement within a collaborative team environment.
