DevOps Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previously worked as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Valid DV clearance.
• Approximately 3+ years of commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and working with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong background working with CI/CD platforms and in Linux administration.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Good understanding of networking and security principles.
• Strong knowledge of Git.

Responsibilities:

• Build, manage, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Manage and optimise Linux-based infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Automate deployment and operational activities.
• Support containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with development teams to improve software release processes.
• Maintain security throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Create and maintain operational documentation.
