Job Description

Salary: £61,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in EWM, WM, or LE
  • Experience with an SAP EWM implementation
  • Experience in SAP ECC6 or S/4HANA
  • Good understanding of SAP EWM outbound, inbound, and internal processes, including VAS, quality inspections, EGR, wave management, physical inventory, and posting changes
  • Experience creating master data such as packaging specifications, warehouse organisational structure, and handling unit settings
  • Sound knowledge and experience configuring or modifying the Post Processing Framework in SAP EWM
  • Strong expertise in setting up system integration between SAP ERP and SAP EWM
  • Knowledge of system enhancements and configuration
  • Experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation
  • Experience in data migration
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • High level of motivation, reliability, and self-organisation
  • SAP EWM certification is desirable
  • Knowledge of implementing Labour Management, Yard Management, and Cross Docking in EWM is desirable
  • Experience with SAP Mobile Technologies implementations using SAP Console, ITS Mobile, RFID, or Radio Frequency Framework solution design is desirable
  • Experience in interface development, including RFC, ALE, IDoc, or Web Services is desirable
  • Knowledge of SAP TM would be an advantage
  • Strong cross-functional SAP knowledge
  • German language is an advantage
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the SME for SAP EWM within our UK business
  • Record business requirements, analyse current processes, and develop future processes according to SAP best practice and business needs
  • Implement customising and coordinate and control external consultants
  • Perform functional, integration, and user acceptance testing
  • Provide technical and end-user documentation
  • Ensure a stable system landscape and provide 3rd line support
  • Provide cutover and go-live support, and ensure a smooth transition to routine operations
  • Co-design and support the SAP S/4HANA roadmap and implementation
  • Lead the design and implementation of SAP EWM at our new Portbury Distribution Centre and Trowbridge Production Facility
  • Support the transition of our existing production from SAP WM to SAP EWM
  • Develop new solutions and enhance existing processes
  • Work through all phases of the project from kick-off to delivery and handover to support
  • Work closely with the business to understand, translate, and deliver SAP EWM requirements
