Sr Technical Architect

Salary: £27,000 - 41,000 per year

Requirements:

• 8+ years of work experience
• Proven techno-functional leadership of Blue Yonder WMS implementations
• End-to-end technical implementation experience for WMS solutions and integrations from design to go-live
• Experience working closely with project managers, development teams, and consulting teams
• Experience providing inputs for status and planning
• Experience working with internal teams such as Development Services and Cloud
• Ability to define and maintain system architecture standards with a focus on scalability, security, and performance
• Hands-on experience with WMS; TMS, WLM, WCS, and warehouse automation/robotics are a strong plus
• Experience with integration needs within execution systems and host systems such as ERP and replenishment planning
• Domain knowledge of supply chain organizations
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Technical expertise in system integration, SaaS/cloud platforms, and programming fundamentals
• Experience with PowerShell or sh
• Experience with Python and SQL/PLSQL
• Snowflake experience is a plus
• Ability to write code and perform reverse engineering
• Thorough knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is a plus
• Database maintenance skills
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS and SQL Server
• Basic knowledge of database administration
• Understanding of SQL performance tuning principles
• Hands-on experience with integration tools is a plus
• Knowledge of Blue Yonder Platform and BYDM is a strong asset
• Leadership skills
• Ability to support project planning, resource allocation, and risk management from a technical perspective
• Ability to partner with project managers in planning efforts
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate functional requirements into technical designs
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• IT, computer science, and/or logistics-related degree
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to discuss functional processes and technical concepts across diverse audiences and levels
• Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
• One or more additional languages is a strong plus; German or French are preferred
