Credit Specialist

Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven modelling/scorecard lead with 5 years of scorecard experience and 3 years of ownership of credit policy across acquisition and existing customer portfolios
• Advanced SAS capability plus strong project delivery, transformation, and stakeholder skills
• Large-scale analytics experience such as in a Banking or Telco environment
• SAS coding including logistic regression and macro proficiency
• Scorecard development and policy rule experience across large portfolios
• Strategy development, implementation, and testing skills
• Monitoring, development, and automation experience
• Documentation and presentation expertise
• Open Banking knowledge and experience is desirable
• Team management experience regarding analytics, modelling, and strategy implementation is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full scorecard lifecycle, from development and validation of logistic regression models through to implementation, testing, and automated monitoring
• Own credit policy and credit reference agency analytics, incorporating FCA/governance requirements
• Lead senior stakeholder engagement
• Work across acquisition and existing customer portfolios
• Support strategy development, implementation, and testing
• Produce documentation and presentations
• Contribute to analytics, modelling, and strategy implementation leadership
