Java Software Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial experience coding in Java, Scala, or Kotlin
• Proven background working in an Agile or XP way, including TDD, ATDD, BDD, and pair programming
• Good design and problem-solving skills
• Experience inside or outside of finance is welcome
• Polyglot engineers looking to be cross-trained into Java are welcome
• Computer science fundamentals, ideally supported by a university degree

Responsibilities:

• Build highly distributed and scalable systems
• Develop greenfield products in a modern start-up environment
• Work on end-to-end systems across a variety of projects
• Contribute to a digital bank and other platform initiatives
• Help us revolutionise cloud computing through currently undisclosed projects
• Collaborate within our Spotify Model engineering structure using a highly tech-driven Agile approach
