Principal Real Time Interconnect Architect
Job Description
Salary: £45,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for someone with experience building systems with robust QoS capabilities, including hard real-time devices and related QoS considerations.
- We need strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus across multiple teams on technical topics.
- You should understand QoS theory and be able to evaluate alternative approaches.
- Experience in RTL design is required, sufficient to understand how architectural decisions affect area, speed, and power.
- You should be proficient in Python or a similar scripting language.
- You should be self-motivated and able to set and achieve goals.
- Nice to have: experience in performance modelling.
- Nice to have: experience in systems power management.
- Nice to have: experience in systems architecture across client, automotive, and datacenter.
- We will rely on you to specify Quality of Service requirements across our IP portfolio to meet system-level requirements for real-time predictability, power management, performance, freedom from interference, and noisy neighbor service level containment.
- You will work with solution architects to distil QoS requirements and define the QoS aspects of system architecture that meet them.
- You will collaborate with architects for AMBA and the Arm architecture to enable future QoS capabilities.
- You will define and lead methodologies for demonstrating that QoS architecture meets requirements, both in theory and in real systems.
