Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary: £38,000 - 78,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require extensive experience with AWS.
• We require extensive experience with scripting languages.
• We require extensive experience with monitoring tools such as SumoLogic and New Relic.
• We require extensive experience with automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform.
• We require extensive experience working in a DevOps support model.
• We require experience working in a highly available, high-transaction production environment.
• We require demonstrable experience communicating in a fast-paced, results-oriented, team-based environment.
• Proven experience with payment gateways is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• We maintain and support Opayo Payments applications, using monitoring tools to detect failures, investigate and resolve issues, and write custom monitoring scripts.
• We work with development teams to help design new products and architect new solutions.
• We monitor the live environment to detect failures and investigate and resolve issues.
• We work closely with Development and Test teams to deploy software releases.
• We support production systems as required inside and outside standard working hours.
• We reduce the overhead of BAU and manual tasks by replacing them with automated solutions.
• We actively contribute to continual improvement across ourselves, our team, and the systems we support.
• We actively participate in departmental projects aligned to the technology roadmap.
• We work with third parties and partners to ensure product compliance and stability.
