Director of Software Engineering – IP Tooling
Job Description
Salary: £45,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for someone with experience leading distributed software organisations through managers, building collaborative relationships and making thoughtful decisions across technology and business priorities.
- We are particularly interested in experience with developer platforms, engineering tools or other software products used by technical communities.
- Experience within semiconductors, embedded software, SoC development or related technologies would be valuable.
- Experience with developer tools, embedded software, semiconductor technologies, hardware and software co-design, SoC integration, configuration platforms, engineering workflow systems or the wider Arm ecosystem would be beneficial.
- Most importantly, we are looking for someone who enjoys developing people, encouraging collaboration and creating an environment where everyone can contribute their best work.
- Lead and support a globally distributed organisation across Manchester, Galway and Austin.
- Develop Engineering Managers and technical leaders while building an inclusive culture where people continue to learn and grow.
- Work with technology, product and architecture partners to shape priorities and guide future investment.
- Help modernise our developer platforms and engineering workflows as our products continue to evolve.
- Encourage collaboration across software, hardware and product organisations, ensuring teams stay aligned around shared outcomes.
