Lead DevOps Engineer

Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We need advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• We need strong knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with in-depth expertise in at least one technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
• We need the ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
• We need a background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• We need solid Linux knowledge, including OS architecture, command-line fluency, and the ability to speak Perl or Python, UNIX scripting, and Java.
• We need cloud-native experience building and running applications that leverage microservices, containers, and dynamic orchestration.
• We need hands-on experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jules and Jenkins, along with exposure to release management tools.
• We need experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated tools for toil reduction and reporting using Python and other scripting languages.
• AWS experience, Kubernetes, and Terraform are preferred qualifications.
