IT Project Engineer

Salary: £24,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong infrastructure skills with hands-on experience in Windows Server, ideally from 2008 R2 to 2022
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
• Experience with Exchange and Microsoft Office 365
• Experience with VMware ESXi 6.0 to 7.0, including vCentre
• Experience with Citrix XenApp 7.15 LTSR and above, and NetScalers
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Networking experience with Cisco and HPE Aruba
• Experience with SANs, ideally NetApp
• Experience with WiFi solutions such as Meraki and Unifi
• Experience with backup solutions including Veeam, MSP Backup, and Datto
• Experience with security controls such as antivirus, MFA, NPS, password policies, and GPO lockdown
• Strong troubleshooting skills across reference environments and live systems
• Experience documenting, testing, implementing, and supporting changes through approved change control processes
• Proven ownership of projects throughout the full lifecycle
• Experience working with internal and external teams to a professional standard

Responsibilities:

• Work on secure and complex projects across internal and cloud-based infrastructures
• Develop and support multiple infrastructure environments
• Work closely with Project Managers, Account Managers, and Technical Consultants to deliver bespoke client projects
• Ensure projects are delivered in a timely and professional manner
• Create procedural documentation for use by supporting colleagues
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in reference environments and live systems
• Document, test, implement, and support changes following approved change control processes
• Own projects throughout their full lifecycle and ensure targets are met
