Freelance SharePoint Developer (SPFx / React)

Salary: £109,200 - 124,800 per year

Requirements:

• Strong, recent hands-on SPFx development experience
• Solid React and TypeScript/JavaScript skills
• Experience developing custom SharePoint web parts and components
• Good working knowledge of SharePoint Online
• Experience with Microsoft Graph and/or SharePoint REST APIs
• Strong front-end skills across HTML/CSS, responsive design, and accessibility
• Desirable: experience with Fluent UI and Microsoft 365 design patterns
• Desirable: full-stack capability, especially APIs, backend integration, and Microsoft 365/Azure
• Desirable: Node.js and modern SPFx tooling experience
• Desirable: integration experience with other Microsoft 365 services

Responsibilities:

• Build a SharePoint site and custom web parts/components using SPFx
• Develop front-end functionality in React and TypeScript
• Integrate with SharePoint Online via Microsoft Graph and/or SharePoint REST APIs
• Deliver responsive, accessible interfaces across the site

We are hiring a Freelance SharePoint Developer for a UK remote contract running for 2 weeks starting 24th August. This is hands-on build work focused on creating a SharePoint site from the ground up using SharePoint Framework, with an emphasis on custom web parts and components rather than administration or configuration. We are looking for someone with genuine, recent SPFx and React experience, and we will prioritise practical build experience over general SharePoint admin backgrounds. The rate is £450–£480 per day.
