Site Reliability Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year
Requirements:- Cloud experience with Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Exposure to building code-defined and reliable infrastructure on cloud platforms, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Working knowledge of one or more programming languages, with the ability to write clean and effective code.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix fundamentals and TCP/IP networking.
- Ability to understand user impact from infrastructure or application changes and a strong drive to improve the end-user experience.
- Strong communication skills when working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactively engage with development teams and use initiative to develop the tools they need.
- Build and support application performance monitoring, exception logging, metrics aggregation, dashboards, and declarative CI/CD pipelines.
- Work alongside senior team members to engage product teams on service-level indicators, service-level objectives, and error budgets.
- Contribute to building and scaling shared tooling for the platform.
