Graduate Data Consultant

Salary: £25,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• We are looking for strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• We require good written and verbal communication skills.
• We need the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools is desirable.
• Awareness of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or cloud technologies is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We work with business users to understand challenges, requirements, and opportunities for improvement.
• We support workshops and meetings to gather and document business requirements.
• We assist with translating business needs into clear technical requirements.
• We create and maintain business process maps and documentation.
• We work with stakeholders at various levels across client organisations.
• We contribute to project documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• We support testing activities and validate solutions before delivery.
• We gather and explore data from a variety of sources.
• We perform data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
• We assist with data quality assessments and data cleansing activities.
• We support data and process mapping exercises.
• We work with experienced engineers and consultants to understand data modelling approaches.
• We learn and apply data warehousing principles, including dimensional modelling and star schemas.
• We develop practical experience using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, and Azure-based data and analytics solutions.
• We help validate solutions against business requirements.

The role is office based to start with, then hybrid after training, with a salary of £30,000 per annum. You will work alongside experienced consultants, analysts, and engineers, gaining hands-on exposure to a leading Microsoft data stack including Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI, SQL, and cloud-based analytics technologies.
