Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience contributing to or managing open-source projects
• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with Linux-based operating systems, including RHEL, Rocky, Debian, and Ubuntu
• Hands-on experience with Git and open-source platforms such as GitHub and GitLab
• Ability to build and deploy scalable applications or libraries
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimisation skills
• Understanding of open-source licensing, including MIT, GPL, and Apache
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Ability to create clear, comprehensive technical documentation
• Experience working within development teams on both minor and major projects
• Background developing robust, scalable, secure enterprise systems
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle
• Ability to follow fast, iterative development approaches
• Understanding of build and release management using tools like Maven, NPM, PyPI, and Ansible
• Experience using Atlassian toolsets such as Jira and Confluence
• Desirable: Experience with containerisation and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Desirable: Understanding of Agile sprint planning and cross-team collaboration
