Principal Platform Architect (AWS)

Salary: £28,000 - 51,000 per year

Requirements:

• A desire to work on some of the most complex and ambitious programmes within the Public Sector, with SC clearance required
• Proven experience leading the delivery of platforms underpinning large-scale cloud transformation, such as cloud migration, application modernisation, or deployment of web-based applications
• Experience leading and making technology decisions that drive positive customer outcomes
• Experience building and fostering relationships with stakeholders, including executive and C-level stakeholders, and translating technology information to support effective decision-making
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
• Ability to manage, coach, and develop team members and the wider community

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of cloud platforms and solutions that enable business transformation and create positive impact for customers and users worldwide
• Provide leadership within multi-disciplinary agile teams by building shared understanding of solution outcomes, technical landscape, and design complexity
• Foster and build relationships with senior stakeholders to establish architectural principles and strategic direction for the platform
• Understand functional and non-functional needs to support architectural decisions
• Play a leading role in our Platforms Capability, driving technology direction and advancement
• Guide others in the capability and support their career development
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop blueprints and standards
• Foster customer relationships and contribute to account strategies
• Share subject matter expertise and act as a technology ambassador for Kainos
