Trainee End User Computing Engineer

Salary: £33,000 - 53,000 per year

Requirements:

• We want someone with a strong interest in IT hardware and troubleshooting
• We need a basic understanding of Windows operating systems and PC components
• We value good communication and problem-solving skills
• We want a willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• We are looking for someone who works well independently and within a team
• We require a full driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Experience with tools such as Intune, SCCM, or MDT would be useful, but it is not essential
• We require applicants to be subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

Responsibilities:

• We support the setup, imaging, deployment, and repair of PCs and workstations
• We configure Windows operating systems and applications
• We assist with hardware diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds
• We deliver and install hardware across States of Guernsey sites
• We troubleshoot deployment and imaging issues
• We maintain accurate records and asset information
• We work closely with internal teams and third-party IT providers
• We help maintain a professional and organised repair environment
