Robotics Software Engineer C++ ROS2

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in an industry software design position
• A degree or Masters in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Strong commercial experience with C++14 or later and Linux
• Extensive hands-on experience with ROS2; ROS1 knowledge is beneficial
• Experience with robotics software development and integration

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test software systems for advanced robotic platforms using C++ and ROS 2
• Collaborate with electronics, mechatronics, and research teams within an Agile development environment
• Test, debug, and validate software performance and reliability
• Provide on-site support for physical robotic systems, including occasional travel to field locations
