Software Engineer

Salary: £52,000 - 74,880 per year

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in at least one back-end type-safe programming language, with Golang preferred
• Experience working with back-end microservice architecture and communication
• Experience with REST and asynchronous messaging services such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Comfortable working within a Scrum framework as part of a team delivering business functions and customer journeys
• Experience with testing and automation throughout the CI/CD pipeline to production
• TDD skills are desirable
• A bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another technical discipline is desired
• 1 to 5 years of commercial experience is accepted

Responsibilities:

• Work on a large-scale B2C platform as part of a contract software engineering team
• Develop back-end services using Java, Golang, and related technologies
• Build and support microservice-based solutions and service-to-service communication
• Deliver tested and automated software through the CI/CD pipeline to production
• Collaborate in a Scrum team to deliver business functions and customer journeys
• Attend onsite in Sussex 2 to 3 days per week

We are Tiro Partners and we are looking for 3 contract software engineers to join us on a large-scale B2C platform. We are considering Java developers who are keen to work with Golang, as well as Golang engineers. The role offers immediate interviews and requires 2 to 3 days per week onsite in Sussex.
