SQL Server Database Administrator

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• 3–5 years experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar
• Strong T-SQL skills and experience optimising queries
• Proven experience in performance tuning and database optimisation
• Ability to work closely with development teams
• Exposure to Azure SQL or cloud environments (desirable)
• Experience working with multiple databases in a production environment

Responsibilities:

• SQL Server administration across production and non-production environments
• Performance tuning, optimisation, and query refactoring
• Writing efficient T-SQL and analysing execution plans
• Supporting and collaborating with developers to improve database performance
• Contributing to Azure migration and cloud optimisation initiatives
• Managing backups, security, and database maintenance
