IT Engineer

Salary: £21,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience of 3rd Line support in an Infrastructure support team
• Experience of working with Cloud Technologies such as Azure and AWS
• Experience running a vulnerability management program including scanning, patching and accepting certain vulnerabilities
• Understanding of exposure vs criticality
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Defender, Tenable
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Proven ITIL background
• Technical expertise in Hosting Services (Both Private & Public Cloud)
• Commitment to self-development and enthusiasm about acquiring new skills and embracing new technologies

Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities across critical business systems
• Research emerging threats to proactively improve security posture
• Engage with teams across the business to protect vital services and minimize disruption
• Provide key metrics and insights to leadership to align vulnerability management activities with governance frameworks
• Stay informed about security threats and technological advancements in infrastructure, cloud hosting, networks, and security
