Vice President (VP) — Operational Excellence

Position Overview

The Vice President (VP) of Operational Excellence is responsible for the overall strategic planning, operational optimization, and continuous improvement management of the company's operational excellence system. The role encompasses formulating operational strategies, optimizing processes, enhancing production efficiency, managing quality, controlling costs, improving organizational effectiveness, and driving operational digitalization. The objective is to ensure efficient, stable, and sustainable growth while boosting the company's operational competitiveness in the global jewelry market.

Key Responsibilities

I. Operational Strategic Planning and Operational Excellence System Development

Formulate the company's mid-to-long-term operational excellence strategy and optimization plans;

Establish and refine the corporate operational management system, standardized processes, and management mechanisms;

Drive the upgrading of operational models to enhance overall operational efficiency and competitiveness;

Optimize resource allocation and operational management pathways in alignment with the company's development strategy.

II. Process Optimization and Efficiency Enhancement

Analyze and optimize core business processes, including procurement, production, supply chain, sales support, and customer delivery;

Promote Lean Operations principles to improve production efficiency and resource utilization;

Establish a system of operational performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously monitor and improve operational performance;

Drive process automation and the application of digital tools to enhance operational transparency and execution efficiency.

III. Production Operations and Supply Chain Collaborative Management

Coordinate production, supply chain, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to achieve efficient operational collaboration;

Optimize production planning, inventory management, and delivery processes;

Enhance supply chain responsiveness and overall operational stability;

Foster efficient collaboration among suppliers, manufacturing teams, and internal operational systems.

IV. Quality Management and Continuous Improvement

Establish and drive a Total Quality Management (TQM) system;

Optimize product quality control processes to reduce operational risks and quality-related costs;

Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance product consistency and customer satisfaction;

Establish mechanisms for problem analysis and improvement to elevate the company's operational maturity.

V. Cost Control and Operational Performance Management

Formulate strategies to optimize operational costs and enhance corporate profitability;

Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost improvements;

Drive cross-departmental cost control projects to ensure efficient resource utilization;

Establish an operational performance evaluation system to enhance team execution capabilities. VI. Cross-functional Collaboration and Organizational Effectiveness

Coordinate across departments such as operations, supply chain, production, quality, sales, and finance;

Ensure operational goals align with the company's overall strategy;

Drive corporate culture development and enhance operational management capabilities;

Build high-performing operational teams and boost organizational execution.

VII. Risk Management and Compliant Operations

Identify potential operational risks and formulate improvement plans;

Ensure operational processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance policies;

Establish risk early-warning mechanisms to safeguard stable and continuous business operations;

Drive the company toward long-term, sustainable operations.

Qualifications

20–25 years of experience in operations management, operational excellence, supply chain management, or related fields;

Over 8 years of experience in senior management roles (Director, Vice President, or above);

Familiarity with operational models in the jewelry, luxury goods, manufacturing, or high-end consumer goods industries is preferred;

Experience in global operations management, cross-regional team management, or international corporate operations is preferred;

Proficiency in Lean management, process optimization, digital operations, and continuous improvement systems;

Strong strategic planning, data analysis, leadership, and cross-functional coordination capabilities.
