Technology, Strategy & Advisory, Enterprise Architect Consultant

Salary: £50,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for experience across one or more architectural domains: Business, Application, Data and Technology.
• We need experience working on complex digital transformation programmes and presenting across different levels of architecture abstraction, ideally within multi-disciplinary teams.
• We value experience with mergers, acquisitions and divestments.
• We need proven stakeholder management and communication skills to influence and persuade on key architectural decisions.
• We are looking for experience designing Cloud, Data Platform and AI solutions, including Gen AI, with curiosity about emerging technologies.
• Experience as a solution architect or enterprise architect is highly desirable.
• Experience in business capability and process taxonomies, maturity assessments, and aligning gaps to enabling technology solutions is highly desirable.
• Experience with enterprise, platform, application and data architecture is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of architecture tools such as LeanIX, Ardoq and iServer is highly desirable.
• Experience in major enterprise architecture engagements such as application optimisation, rationalisation, re-platforming and modernisation is highly desirable.
• Certification in TOGAF, SAFe and/or AWS, Azure or GCP is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as APQC Process Classification Framework, Zachman Framework, ITIL and Scaled Agile Framework is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We assess the impact of business strategy on enterprise architecture, including organisation, applications, data, infrastructure and operations.
• We stay abreast of industry dynamics and trends to identify and shape the need for enterprise architecture change.
• We co-create clients enterprise architecture vision, strategy and roadmap to align with business objectives.
• We develop recommendations and translate them into actionable roadmaps for complex and large technology environments using Lean and Agile enterprise principles.
• We support the creation of enterprise architecture blueprints that show the end-to-end technology landscape, including applications, integrations and data.
• We conduct end-to-end vendor assessments across technology, vendor and/or data platforms.
• We work between business, technology, client and third-party stakeholders to communicate and conclude key architectural decisions.
• We provide enterprise architecture governance throughout transformation programmes to ensure new initiatives comply with guidelines without jeopardising business objectives.
• We support the design and governance of enterprise data platform capabilities, including integration and automation.
• We support the creation of enterprise architecture operating model definitions and implementation roadmaps.
• We complete enterprise architecture maturity assessments on behalf of clients.
• We support the design and governance of enterprise AI platform capabilities.
