Staff Engineer, ServiceNow IT Risk & Compliance

Salary: £42,000 - 82,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree or equivalent engineering skillset, training, or work experience in a relevant technical domain.
• We require 6+ years of hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
• We require an active ServiceNow CIS-Risk certification.
• We require proven technical leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding development teams.
• We require a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform best practices for scalability and maintainability.
• We require experience conducting stakeholder workshops and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• We require integration experience, including familiarity with Integration Hub and out-of-box spokes.
• We require the ability to design and build custom integrations using REST APIs and OAuth.
• We require deep hands-on experience with ServiceNow UI Builder, App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Workspaces.
• We require proven experience owning architecture.
• We require experience working in an Agile SAFe framework.
• We require the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• We require experience engaging with senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

• We act as the primary technical authority for ServiceNow and integrations.
• We provide deep hands-on support in complex design and troubleshooting scenarios.
• We mentor engineers and elevate the teams overall technical capability.
• We lead architecture reviews, proof of concepts, and technology evaluations.
• We design and deliver solutions using ServiceNow App Engine, UI Builder, Now Experience, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and ATFs.
• We drive reuse and standardization across ServiceNow applications.
• We optimize platform usage and follow ServiceNow best practices to reduce technical debt and operational overhead.
• We lead technical design and development efforts to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• We conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on platform capabilities.
• We support additional modules such as Software Asset Management and Contract Management.
• We collaborate in an Agile SAFe environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• We ensure compliance with ServiceNow platform standards and governance.
• We learn and champion DevOps practices.
• We develop proficiency in and support configuration automation platforms, including Blue Prism and Power Automate, to drive process efficiency and integration.
