SQL Developer

Salary: £40,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong, hands-on SQL experience, ideally in a support or delivery-focused role
• Background in technical application support or a similarly complex environment
• Ability to work through issues requiring detailed analysis and business understanding
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with both technical and non-technical teams
• Experience with case-management or workflow systems is desirable
• Exposure to professional services, financial services, legal, or regulated environments is desirable
• Understanding of how business processes map to data and system logic is desirable
• Must already be established in the UK
• No sponsorship available

Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain SQL queries and scripts in a live production environment
• Investigate and resolve complex, multi-day technical support issues
• Assess system dependencies and business impact before implementing changes
• Support a workflow-based or case-management system
• Convert complex support tickets into small, deliverable enhancement pieces
• Work closely with developers, support teams, and business stakeholders
