Solution Architect - South East London

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive commercial experience in several of the following areas: technical and solution design, open-source software, cloud computing (ideally AWS), security best practices, IAM, OAuth, Cognito, OIDC, containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps/DevSecOps tools, and programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, and Python.
• Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship and have lived in the UK continuously for the last five years.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance to a standard acceptable to our UK Government customers.

Responsibilities:

• Network and communicate with senior stakeholders across organisations, and proactively identify opportunities for digital transformation.
• Build rapport with customers to identify new opportunities for Zaizi.
• Support multiple teams by finding and applying best practices and emerging technologies.
• Inspire other architects and help them understand how to deliver organisational goals.
• Take responsibility for governance, resolve complex and high-risk issues, and deliver architecture designs.
• Collaborate across multiple projects and customers.
• Discuss and present solutions and options to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other teams at Zaizi, share knowledge, and drive continuous improvement.

We are Zaizi, and we are seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of digital services for the UK public sector using open-source technologies and Agile and DevOps practices. The role objectives can be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate during the interview process. The salary range is £90,000–£125,000.
