Site Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in an IT Support, Infrastructure, Field Engineer or similar position
• Practical knowledge of network infrastructure and LAN/WAN troubleshooting
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows 11
• Familiarity with laptops, desktops, printers, wireless equipment and handheld scanners
• Any experience with data and voice cabling or termination would be advantageous
• Comfortable working independently across geographically dispersed sites
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the South East

Responsibilities:

• Support IT, network and communications infrastructure across multiple sites
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, switches, routers and wireless access points
• Install and decommission laptops, desktops, printers, scanners and mobile devices
• Support Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 environments
• Assist with data and voice cabling, termination and site interconnections
• Act as an escalation point for incidents affecting operational sites
• Coordinate third-party suppliers during installations and fault resolution
• Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation
• Travel field-based across the South East, including Southampton, Kent and Rainham
