Requirements:

• SC security clearance is required for this role.
• Senior-level experience as a webMethods Integration Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with webMethods Integration Server 10.15+.
• Strong hands-on experience with webMethods Flow Services 10.15+.
• Experience with webMethods Designer.
• Experience with Universal Messaging / JMS.
• Experience with webMethods API Gateway 10.15+.
• Experience developing REST and SOAP services.
• Experience with Swagger / OpenAPI.
• Experience with AWS S3 connectors / file transfer.
• SQL experience with Oracle, MSSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with Elastic / OpenSearch.
• Experience with Azure.
• Kubernetes fundamentals, including pods, services, ingress, Istio and Traefik.
• Experience with Docker / containerisation / containerd.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence and Teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop REST and SOAP services using webMethods Designer.
• Develop Universal Messaging / JMS packages.
• Configure and maintain webMethods API Gateway.
• Design and advise on integration patterns and best practice.
• Investigate and resolve defects, bugs and live-service issues.
• Develop and test new functionality against Product Owner and client priorities.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and code reviews.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications and integrations.
• Maintain technical documentation in Confluence.
• Work within an Agile delivery environment using Jira.
• Ensure secure coding practices and alignment with the platforms security posture.
• Lead ongoing development and support of the integration platform.
• Work closely with Product Owners, clients, QA, UX and DevSecOps teams.

We are offering a 6-month rolling contract for a Senior webMethods Integration Developer working remotely, with some travel required to our client site around 1-2 times per month in London and/or the South / South-East. The rate is £625 - £645 per day inside IR35. You will join an agile delivery team supporting a mission-critical UK MOD platform, taking ownership of integration development, enhancements and live-service support across the full integration lifecycle.
