Senior Systems Administrator
Job Description
Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year
Requirements:- Technical college degree in a relevant subject
- Strong communication skills in both technical and non-technical subjects
- Ability to communicate clearly with varied levels across the organization
- Understanding of IT infrastructure
- Understanding of disaster recovery and service continuity
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel and work in an international team
- Ability to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rotation
- Maintain, support and develop Workplace endpoint management solutions, including Microsoft SCCM, Intune and Autopilot
- Manage and continuously improve OS standard images, including build, upgrade and driver package maintenance
- Create, package and maintain Microsoft Office and third-party software deployments across the estate
- Deliver effective patch management for server and client environments, ensuring security and compliance
- Produce and maintain reporting across endpoint management platforms for Workplace Services and Infrastructure teams
- Provide 3rd line support to Group IT Technical Support teams, ensuring stability and performance of associated tools and services
- Perform in-depth root cause analysis and drive resolution of complex technical issues
- Share knowledge and upskill UWS analysts and Technical Support teams to improve service quality and response times
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides and training materials
- Contribute to our Knowledge Base and support the definition and evolution of standards and policies
- Participate in Workplace Services projects, delivering solutions on time, within budget and aligned to stakeholder expectations
