Senior System Architect

Salary: £45,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree, ideally in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering, with relevant experience
• Good understanding of computer architecture concepts and trends, including CPUs, GPUs, and/or other hardware acceleration
• Strong programming and analytical skills
• Passion, drive, and diligence
• Ability to communicate clearly with expert and non-expert audiences
• Passion for both hardware and software, with a strong desire to extend the depth and breadth of your expertise
• Nice to have: familiarity with Arm architecture fundamentals
• Nice to have: experience with vector processing and parallel programming
• Nice to have: knowledge of machine learning or agentic AI
• Nice to have: familiarity with robotics and simulation frameworks
• Nice to have: experience in architecture performance analysis and optimisation

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Arm technology groups, partners, and industry consortia to innovate, develop, and deploy new technologies across the Arm ecosystem
• Contribute to exploring and shaping the direction of Arm products over the next three to five years
• Help understand industry trends, including generative AI, and develop future computing devices that power artificial intelligence
• Contribute to work spanning machine learning, security, energy-efficient performance, and software ecosystems
