Senior Software Engineer - National Security
Job Description
Salary: £48,000 - 88,000 per year
Requirements:- British national only, with an active SC clearance and eligibility for higher level clearance
- Based in or willing to relocate to Gloucester
- 5 years professional experience in cloud data engineering, with an AWS focus
- Hands-on experience with Python or Java
- Experience with Hadoop or other distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to design scalable architectures
- Experience mentoring technical teams
- Design and deliver scalable data processing solutions for customers in highly sensitive, demanding environments
- Architect cloud-native systems
- Lead data pipeline development
- Work directly with technical stakeholders to solve complex, real-world problems
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Operate effectively in fast-moving, security-conscious environments
