Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Microsoft Certified: PL-400 Power Platform Developer
• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure services as part of Power Platform solutions
• Proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation, knowledge transfer and handover materials
• Experience leading technical teams and providing guidance throughout the software development lifecycle
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coordinate technical delivery and support team performance
• Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing deadlines
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
• Experience planning, facilitating and documenting meetings, ensuring agreed actions are tracked through to completion
• Good commercial awareness and an understanding of business objectives and customer requirements
• A collaborative approach with a passion for mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues

Responsibilities:

• We provide technical leadership across software development projects, ensuring the successful design, build and delivery of high-quality solutions
• We design, build and configure applications using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform
• We produce, maintain and refactor complex application code and technical documentation
• We ensure development activities adhere to agreed quality standards, development methodologies and best practices
• We apply appropriate development standards, tools and techniques to deliver well-engineered technical solutions
• We translate business and client requirements into technical specifications for development teams
• We diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve application issues and defects
• We participate in peer reviews and lead technical reviews of colleagues work to ensure quality and consistency
• We support the planning and delivery of projects, helping to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved
• We collaborate with technical teams to design, implement and monitor system integration activities
• We define and oversee complex integration solutions, ensuring integration environments are correctly configured and maintained
• We design, execute and document integration testing activities, reporting outcomes and recommendations
• We mentor and coach developers, promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement
• We participate in client and stakeholder meetings, providing technical expertise and clear communication throughout project delivery
