Senior Software Developer - Contacts Team

Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year

• You have 5+ years of Java experience.
• You have experience with relational and non-relational databases, query optimisation, and schema design.
• You have a strong product mindset and a passion for customer experience, prioritising work with customers in mind and making data-driven decisions to address customer pain points.
• You enjoy collaborating with others and bringing people together to solve problems.
• You have experience designing, deploying, and maintaining clean RESTful APIs.
• You believe in and follow best coding practices, code reviews, and open feedback.
• You enjoy writing testable code and believe in Test Driven Development.
• Nice to have: experience with Spring Boot.
• Nice to have: experience working with BFFs (Backend-for-Frontend).

Responsibilities:

• We will have you working in an autonomous team driving the technical vision for the backend solution powering the recipient user experience.
• You will help us scale up and build a world-class recipient management product.
• You will work closely with engineers, designers, the product manager, and the analyst in an agile environment.
• You will contribute to the end-to-end recipient management experience, from the backend platform and search capabilities to local integrations and customer-facing screens.
