Senior iOS Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 67,500 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience in native iOS development using Swift and modern frameworks such as SwiftUI, Combine, or UIKit.
• A solid grasp of architectural patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.
• Experience writing unit and UI tests.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience working within an Agile or Scrum delivery framework.
• Familiarity with Apples design guidelines, HIG, and the App Store submission process.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced product-based company, SaaS business, or high-growth startup is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of our flagship iOS app.
• Architect, write, and maintain robust, high-performance Swift code for our native iOS application.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to turn feature ideas into intuitive mobile experiences.
• Drive continuous improvements in app performance, code quality, testing coverage, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Debug complex technical issues, remove performance bottlenecks, and keep our tech stack modern and maintainable.
