Senior Full Stack Developer

Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have built and shipped production web applications across both frontend and backend
• We understand databases well enough to anticipate scaling issues
• We have experience handling real-world application challenges such as concurrency, data consistency, and performance
• We write maintainable code that other developers can work with
• We ask the right questions before building from a business requirement
• We can turn vague briefs into clear specs and identify gaps early
• We plan for edge cases before they become production issues
• We balance delivery speed with quality and avoid over-engineering or cutting corners
• We test what we build before considering it complete
• We use AI-assisted coding tools fluently to accelerate our work without losing accuracy
• We know when AI-generated output is wrong and how to correct it
• We use AI for scaffolding, research, and iteration while maintaining understanding of the code
• We communicate blockers and questions early
• We take ownership end to end and follow through
• We work effectively with non-technical stakeholders, including listening, translating, and pushing back when needed
• We are comfortable working with a defined stack and do not need to choose our own stack to stay motivated

Responsibilities:

• Translate customer business requirements into clear product specifications and build them
• Build full-stack web applications end to end
• Work with the frontend stack: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui
• Work with the backend stack: Node.js, Express, tRPC, PostgreSQL, and Drizzle ORM
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code as a core part of our workflow
• Iterate on shipped products based on real customer feedback
• Own the implementation and shape UX details
• Respond directly to customer feedback on live products

We build SaaS products and bespoke web applications for business customers. This role is hands-on and end to end, with our team focused on understanding customer needs, shaping product specifications, and shipping quickly using a curated, opinionated stack and AI tooling. We offer the opportunity to work across multiple products and different domains, with a well-defined stack and process so we spend more time building than deciding. The role is in person, and the salary range is £60,000 to £90,000 per year.
