Senior DevOps Engineer Azure

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer within a Microsoft Azure cloud environment
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as IaC, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or AWS CloudFormation
• Experience designing and implementing scalable systems capable of handling high loads
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for large-scale systems using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Ability to code with Python, Node.js, or Golang, with a focus on scripting and automation
• Strong analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative and pragmatic approach with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Help build and scale an Azure cloud platform for a specific area of our business
• Design, automate, and optimise cloud infrastructure across Azure, with additional exposure to AWS
• Create secure, reliable, and scalable platforms that can evolve with our business
• Contribute to architectural decisions, infrastructure automation, and platform improvements as part of our Agile engineering team
• Solve complex technical challenges and introduce new ideas to improve our tooling, processes, and cloud services
• Support engineering teams to deliver quickly and confidently
