Senior Developer
Job Description
Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:- Extensive experience developing websites and web applications using PHP 8+, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX/JSON
- Good working understanding of CMS platforms and frameworks such as Drupal, WordPress, Craft, and Laravel
- Proficiency in and application of WCAG 2.2 accessibility guidance
- Knowledge of microservices, APIs (build and integration), and cloud services such as AWS
- Strong stakeholder management experience, along with high-level interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working as a member of a development team, providing support, mentoring, and cover where needed
- Experience with Agile and Scrum, as well as other software and product development and delivery methodologies
- Deliver new digital functionality and web development support for our digital products, including student information and booking services
- Work with our core content management systems and collaborate with development teams to produce new functionality and services across a range of digital products
- Design and build foundational systems to reduce and realign our tech stack and help modernise ways of working
- Play a key role in projects by working with key stakeholders to identify requirements for new applications
