Senior AI Automation Engineer

Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience building production-grade AI systems, software engineering solutions, and automation workflows
• Strong Python development experience for production use
• Experience integrating systems using APIs and event-driven architectures
• Experience working with AI platforms such as Copilot Studio and Azure AI / Foundry
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployment and versioning
• Ability to design scalable, observable, and maintainable enterprise solutions
• Experience leading technical design and code reviews
• Ability to support and develop early-career engineers

Responsibilities:

• Design and build AI agents and multi-step workflows for internal tax use cases
• Develop Python-based services and automation pipelines for production use
• Integrate AI systems with internal platforms using APIs and event-driven architectures
• Orchestrate workflows across Copilot Studio, Azure AI / Foundry, and internal systems
• Build reusable components such as connectors, tools, and agent capabilities
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployment and versioning
• Ensure solutions are scalable, observable, and maintainable in enterprise environments
• Lead technical design and code reviews
