SAP Test Analyst

Requirements:

• We require demonstrable SAP experience.
• We require demonstrable XML experience, including XML validation and manipulation.
• We require experience using defect management tools such as JIRA or similar.
• We require an ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate, or equivalent experience.
• We require excellent understanding of test techniques and Risk Based Testing.
• We require experience with SAP, Windows, Oracle, SQL, Java, XML, TOAD, Maestro, WebMethods, and WebLogic.
• We prefer TOSCA experience for automation test scripts, though it is not essential.
• We value knowledge of SAP and finance industry experience.
• Due to the nature of the work and clearance required, this role is only open to UK residents with SC eligibility.

Responsibilities:

• We will analyse, prepare, and execute the System Test phase of one or more release-based projects.
• We will review customer requirements, functional specifications, and APIs.
• We will identify test cases, create test scripts, exploratory charters, and automated test scripts using TOSCA where applicable.
• We will prepare test data and run and record tests.
• We will verify outcomes against expected results using quality processes and procedures.
• We will ensure traceability of tests to user requirements, risks, and functional specifications.
• We will run tests, collect and record results, and retest to prove that defects have been corrected.
• We will create automation test scripts.
• We will provide regular status reports to the test manager.
• We will identify and raise project risks and issues.

We are recruiting an SAP Test Analyst for a 6-month contract at a rate of £350 to £414. The role is based in Worthing or Telford, with at least one site visit per week. This position reports to a Test Lead and sits within a release-based project environment. Because of the nature of the work and the clearance requirement, the role is open only to UK residents.
