SAP Finance Control Consultant

Salary: £45,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a highly experienced candidate with deep SAP technology expertise, solution architecture, advisory, and strategy experience, along with FICO.
• We require deep functional SAP expertise in areas such as Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Sales, or technical expertise in ABAP, Integration, Security, or Basis, in one or two SAP ERP skill areas.
• We require experience with SAP S/4HANA, EWM, TM, Business AI, LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM.
• We require hands-on SAP consulting experience.
• We require a minimum of 4 full lifecycle SAP project implementations.
• We require experience leading teams in SAP projects.
• We require exposure to at least two S/4HANA project types: Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid.
• We require experience in transformation preparation or Phase 0 activities.
• We require proficiency in SAP toolchain usage or administration.
• We require a valid SAP certification in relevant skill areas.
• We require strong client-facing skills with the ability to engage middle management effectively.
• We require proven ability to build solution proposals and estimate efforts accurately.

Responsibilities:

• We lead the design and governance of SAP solutions across multiple end-to-end S/4HANA implementations and large-scale transformation programs.
• We define and steer the architecture vision aligned with client business strategy, SAP roadmap, enterprise standards, and cost considerations.
• We drive project execution from Phase 0 through delivery across Greenfield, Brownfield, and Hybrid implementations.
• We utilize SAPs full toolchain for architecture design, implementation, and lifecycle management.
• We collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define transformation roadmaps and readiness assessments.
• We act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior stakeholders, influencing transformation strategy and shaping value-driven solution architectures.
• We represent our organization in key client interactions with strong communication and leadership presence.
• We lead solution proposals, architecture blueprints, and effort estimations for RFP/RFI cycles.
• We support deal shaping, value proposition development, and architecture governance for large SAP pursuits.
• We contribute to internal knowledge assets, best practices, reference architectures, and quality frameworks.
• We mentor and guide SAP architects and consulting teams across delivery and pre-sales.
• We establish architecture standards, good practices, and quality gates across the SAP service line.
• We foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Principal Technology Architect – SAP to join our growing SAP practice in Europe on a permanent basis. This role is based in Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, the UK, or Sweden. You will shape the SAP transformation vision for some of Europes leading enterprises and work closely with client business and IT stakeholders, C-suite leaders, and internal delivery and pre-sales teams. Publications, patents, or external thought leadership are considered a strong advantage.
