Salesforce Developer

Salary: £104,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL and SOSL.
• We require proven configuration and customisation experience across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• We require a solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model and governor limits.
• We require experience building and consuming integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• We require familiarity with deployment tools and version control, such as Git, Salesforce DX and change sets.
• We require an understanding of declarative automation, including Flows and Process Builder, alongside code-first development.
• We prefer Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
• We prefer experience working in global or multi-region Salesforce environments.
• We prefer exposure to B2B and B2C business models.
• We prefer knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and managed deployments.
• We prefer experience with Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud or MuleSoft.
• We expect a high level of collaboration, technical problem-solving and ownership in a fast-paced international environment.

Responsibilities:

• We design, develop and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components and Visualforce.
• We build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, as well as middleware.
• We configure and customise Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to meet evolving business requirements.
• We balance declarative configuration and programmatic development to deliver efficient and maintainable solutions.
• We develop and maintain triggers, batch jobs, flows and automation across B2B and B2C use cases.
• We collaborate with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to translate requirements into technical designs.
• We participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, governor limits and platform standards.
• We support data migration, deployment and release management activities.
• We troubleshoot, debug and resolve platform issues across global business units.
• We contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

We are a global organisation delivering both B2B and B2C services, and we are partnering on an experienced Salesforce Developer contract role based in London with hybrid working. This is an initial 36-month contract offered outside IR35, with a competitive day rate and the potential for extension. You will join a fast-paced, collaborative international environment where you will work closely with business analysts, architects and stakeholders to build, enhance and optimise our Salesforce platform across multiple business lines.
