React/Next.js Developer

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong React/TypeScript development experience (2 years)
• Experience with or exposure to headless CMS platforms such as Hygraph
• Good understanding of GraphQL and modern data fetching approaches
• Understanding of PWA concepts and frontend performance optimisation
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders
• Experience building B2B and B2C e-commerce websites is essential, interacting with a Magento back end ideally
• AWS Cloud experience

Responsibilities:

• Build and own the core Ecommerce website experience within a modern, headless architecture
• Develop in React and work with GraphQL APIs
• Integrate with Hygraph CMS to help deliver a fast, scalable and flexible frontend
• Support a complex ecommerce environment across B2B and B2C journeys
• Engage with internal stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Shape how the platform evolves and influence technical direction
• Help establish in-house capability as the business moves away from agencies

Our platform supports both B2B and B2C ecommerce in a complex, high-scale environment, and we are bringing more capability in-house so you can take ownership and leave a visible mark on our frontend estate. The role is based in Northampton with 4 days onsite and Fridays from home, plus flexible working hours, free onsite parking, 25 days holiday, a strong pension, healthcare schemes, and funded training and certifications. We do not offer visa sponsorship initially, although it may be available after 6 months for those on dependent or PSW/Graduate visas.
