Quantitative Analyst - Model Development Team
Job Description
Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year
Requirements:- Masters degree in a quantitative discipline such as Financial Engineering
- Programming and model development experience in Excel/VBA and Python or R
- Ability to solve problems using critical, rational, and creative thinking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly
- Strong work ethic and a strong team-player mindset
- Prior experience in credit risk, financial/cashflow, or statistical modelling, with hands-on exposure in Excel/VBA, Python or R
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage timelines across multiple projects
- Gain and leverage knowledge of credit modelling, rating methodology, and criteria
- Contribute to the development of models across sectors including Corporates, Infrastructure and Project Finance, Financial Institutions, and Governments and Public Finance
- Work with other specialists to research, design, implement, and enhance models
- Conduct comprehensive testing and prepare model documentation
- Contribute to team initiatives such as trainings, research projects, and user/client support
