Quality Assurance Engineer

Salary: £51,000 - 91,000 per year

Requirements:

• Self-assured and confident with the ability to maintain composure under pressure
• Able to multi-task and juggle complex and competing demands, organising and prioritising workload effectively
• Self-starter with a hands-on approach, working under own initiative with minimal supervision
• Strong engineering aptitude with proven ability to solve problems
• Experience implementing problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa
• Experience implementing CI tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, Gauge R&R, and Capability Studies
• Able to work collaboratively with other team members and departments
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Product Nonconformity processes and systems
• Manage customer-driven Quality, Documentation, and Part Approval activities as required
• Manage the Calibration system and support calibration activities
• Support the Quality Manager with the management and implementation of the QMS
• Support auditing activities and processes
• Monitor departmental and business quality performance and produce relevant reports as required
• Support the quality aspects of projects such as Offshore, CI, and ERP improvements
