Python Developer - Cyber Security

Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong Python and backend software engineering experience
• Advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Willingness to learn and pick up new technologies
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Some experience with Rust, TypeScript, and/or C++
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Degree educated in a STEM discipline

Responsibilities:

• Work within our R&D team on a new greenfield product to combat AI-based security attacks
• Contribute to a range of complex projects, from rapid prototyping of new ideas to the structured development of existing platforms
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation
• Work mainly with backend Python, with exposure to Rust and emerging technologies
• Use the right tool for the job in a rapid development environment with lots of problem solving and iteration
