Operations and Assurance Security Manager

Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need candidates who are sole British nationals.
• Candidates must either hold or be eligible to hold SC clearance.
• We need familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, JSP 453, and JSP 440 Secure by Design.

Responsibilities:

• We are responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining information security, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• We ensure our systems, processes, and data are protected against threats while meeting regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
• We set the direction for the development of security policies, standards, and procedures.
• We oversee cybersecurity strategy, support security incidents, and lead incident response.
• We drive continuous improvement and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
• We collaborate with IT, operations, and business teams to embed security practices.
• We provide training and awareness programs to promote a security-first culture.
• We manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and auditors.
• We lead internal and external audits.
